SALSA
CLASSES & SOCIAL DANCING Come and learn in a relaxed social teaching environment - our talented and friendly instructors Karen and Alison will have you dancing in no time at all. Classes are on a 'drop-in' basis so you can attend as often or as inrequently as you like. The Lounge has 2 levels so please feel free to come, have a drink, chat and meet new friends whilst the lessons are taking place downstairs. After the lessons (10pm+) everybody is welcome downstairs to dance and listen to the great Salsa sounds from Karen (AKA DJ Salsaroja) Improvers/Intermediates - Fully qualified dance teacher Karen, teaches dance technique, leading and following skills and confidence building. As with the extremely popular classes at the Pyramid Centre, teaching focuses on leading & following skills, and specific choreographed routines. Karen teaches 'Salsa Fusion' using elements of both CBL Style Salsa & Cuban Salsa, looking at similarities, the differences, musicality and how to use both styles effectively.
